I have MRKH what that means in the most basic terms, because that’s not the focus of this, is that I was born without a uterus and cannot carry my own child. Though I have functioning ovaries and produce eggs.
My husband and I have been married for 6 years and we have always wanted to have children. There are a few options open to us, the one we have chosen is having a biological child through a gestational carrier. This is a long and complicated process.
I will be documenting our journey. It’s not just celebrities using gestational surrogacy there are everyday people with fertility issues too.
One of our biggest challenges has been finding someone willing to carry for us. After lots of praying and questions we have found a carrier, my sister in law has agreed to carry our child for us!! ❤️❤️❤️ We went to the doctor’s office and pending a few more tests we’re moving forward!!!
We could not be more excited! But we have a long road ahead and we’re asking for help. But I cannot wait to call my mother and father in law and tell them that we’re pregnant and we’re adding to their grandbaby count.
We’re also asking for love, prayers, and support as we move forward. It takes a village and I am so incredibly blessed to have the most amazing village!
If you would like we’re taking donations through YouCaring. Our goal is $10,000.
